Al Ellis – firefighter and coach by day and night (afternoon and weekends).
Football Coaches Australia aims to provide coaches at all levels with opportunities to become the best coach they can and lift the quality of coaching against the world stage.
Our game would not be able to progress without the countless coaches like Al, who have selflessly provided their time, energy and invested in getting qualified as a coach. Al currently has a B license and is constantly adding to his skills – on and off the coaching arena.
Al is currently a Head Coach at Manly United FC and as part of his continuing journey as a coach, credits the learning gained and completion of the FCA XV Essential Skills Program.
Most recently, Al has taken the opportunity provided by the Winning Mind Package and given access to his players at Manly United. He understands the impact that essentials skill such as EQ, leadership and communication can have, not just on performance, but on the general wellbeing of the young people in his teams.
For the remainder of May, any coach can get access to the Winning Mind Package for only $140 (valued at $2890). This includes four full modules of the FCA XV Essential Skills Program, plus access to one module for 16 players.
