For many people leadership is something that is familiar to us.  Since time began, people have had a view. Lao Tzu, the Chinese philosopher from 500 BCE said this:

“A leader is best when people barely know he/she exists, when his/her work is done, his/her aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves.”

We all have a view too. The good political leaders.  The great business leaders.  The special captains.  The world class coaches. Much of this is opinion.  Much subjective. However, are there things we can learn that provides us with a set of traits; a set of attitudes, behaviours and beliefs which set aside good leadership from bad.  We see and hear of it every day.
